- It’s a Green Thumb Event! General Meeting – Think Green for Springs –Wednesday March 15th @ 1:00 PM Speaker: Will Stone Hillsborough County Extension -How to Grow Herbs and show us how to make a themed herb garden. One lucky winner from the club will bring it home. You must be at the meeting to enter.
- Hands-on Activity -Heart FELT & Friends of Joshua House– Goodie Bags for Easter come early prior to the meeting at 12:30 to work on this project
- Nominating committee will be taking submissions for next year’s board
- Revised Bylaws will be submitted to our membership for approval
- Collections for military care package -Here are some military care package ideas that service members appreciate: Necessities, such as sunblock, socks, underwear, flip-flops, lip balm, and powder; Snacks including chips, salsa, nuts, cookies, beef jerky, non-melting candy and trail mix in packaging that isn’t easily crushed. Drink mixes in single-serving packets are also a good addition. Games, – playing cards/poker chips, crosswords, or puzzle books; Stationery-Send paper, envelopes, address labels, and pens.
- We are starting a very special Recycle Reuse Collection. Colonial Assisted Living Facility is in need of gently used: clothes, shoes, magazines, books, puzzles, craft & art supplies, and other items for their residents. We hope to make this an ongoing collection that will be dropped off monthly after each meeting,
