Mental Health Awareness Month activities include: 

  • Mental health screenings: 
  • Exercise: Participate in group activities like walking, biking, or dancing to release endorphins and reduce stress 
  • Guided meditation: Focus on the present moment without judging yourself to lower stress and promote mental health 
  • Showing gratitude: Explore ways to build gratitude, such as journaling, meditating, and expressing thanks to others 
  • Community mental health fairs: Host events to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health conditions 
  • Dance parties: Have fun and destress with a dance party 
  • Pet-friendly events: Include pets in your activities to take advantage of their mental health benefits 
  • Educational workshops: Provide workshops on mental health topics 
  • Zen spaces: Set up areas in the office for relaxation 
  • Self-care time: Set aside time for self-care during the day 
  • Peer-to-peer shout-outs: Encourage employees to recognize each other 
  • Talk to leadership: Discuss mental health with your leadership team
