Go TEAM New Tampa! This year, all three GFWC New Tampa Clubs combined their efforts to support March of Dimes in their effort to help each child have a healthy start at life! Raising over $2,000 to help in March of Dimes fight for children.
Our GFWC Partnership with MOD started in the tragic polio days when Eleanor Roosevelt was one of GFWC’s esteemed members to our current mission. And we look forward to 70 more years standing side by side.
So why does the March of Dimes matter? Because everyone of us knows a baby or a family that has been affected by premature birth, birth defects, or infant death. Our babies deserve better! And we can give them better. With help from volunteers, more women will have full-term pregnancies and more babies will begin healthy lives. And if something goes wrong, the March of Dimes can offer information and comfort to families. And we are not resting on our laurels. Whether you walk in memory of a loss child, or in honor of one saved by medical treatment…join in the fight for children. Are you ready to help us next year ?
