Friday, September 13, 2013, was an exciting day for those who want to hear the words “BINGO“. Fifteen GFWC Woman’s Club of New Tampa members and friends shared Federation BINGO with over 85 members in District 8. The event was hosted by Edwina Kraemer, GFWC Florida District 8 President’s Project Chairman, and it was a success for all who attended.
The Bottle Tombola was a huge success with many in attendance going home with flavored cooking oils, lotions, beverages, etc. The Flip Flop contest was incredible with each person in attendance voting which flip flops were their favorites. Thanks to D. Ferri and her sister, the Devious Diva won first place in the “Flirtatious” category. Our opportunity basket titled: “Everything Orange” was a huge success in fundraising.
GFWC Woman’s Club of New Tampa will be able to donate over $250 to the President’s project: Schools and Scholarships! A special thank you to all who attended.
