GFWC “Florida” Flock was in full force at Tampa International Airport. Dressed in hot pink, we flooded the gates for Memphis, where we would celebrate, be re-energized, and recollect on our many accomplishments of our clubs, state and GFWC.
The most popular tour was that to Graceland, home of Elvis…what an incredible step back in time as we visited this place where so much of rock n’ roll began. 
On Saturday, June 13, the Processional of Flags was started at 9:30 a.m. with “yours truly” having the honor of carrying in the GFWC flag! 
This was a highlight of my week, there are so few people who have had this honor! 
After the Business Session, was the presentation of awards, workshops hosted by GFWC Partners, social gatherings, etc. GFWC Florida, with your help, took home quite a number of awards. You can visit GFWCflorida.org to see the entire list.
The finale of the week was the Celbration of our 125 years of community service! What a birthday party we had…put 2016 GFWC Annual Convention on your calendar now…it’s in Baltimore on June 24-29!
