Want to know what to do with your used t-shirts? Just shred them into strips, braid and tie off the ends and you have a canine training/chew toy. A small group gathered for the December meeting today as we recycled used t-shirts and made tog toys! Scarlet and Grey tried out one and thought it was a big hit. The 26 toys will be mailed to Canine Companions for Independence to be used as training tools. The smaller toys will be sent to the Hillsborough County Humane Society. Thanks to all the ladies who showed up to help. A special welcome to Anna, who looked through the window and asked if she could help. We hope to see her again next month.
