Calling All District 8 Marching Bands and members!
District 8 Spring Workshop a huge success! With the theme “District 8 Marches On”, GFWC Woman’s Club of New Tampa hosted it’s first district workshop for newly installed Distict Director, Mary Jane Neale and Junior District Director, Anita Long. About 65 women from the district were introduced to the President’s Project “Canine Companions: with emphasis on the Wounded Warrior Program”. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast supplied by the members of the Women’s Club and a wonderful lunch of chicken picata, new potatoes, green beans and salad from Millers’ Cafe. A special thank you to Michele Small and Ginger Lampli for all the hard work in chairing this event and to the club members for their help throughout the day.
