GFWC Woman’s Club of New Tampa teamed up with The New Tampa Juniors on “Developmental Hearts For Preemies” project making fabric hearts. These hearts are placed in the baby’s incubator after the parents “scent” the hearts with their LOVE! The Preemie Project seeks to provide comfort and support to critically ill infants and their families in Newborn Intensive Care Units. A big “Thank you” goes out to all the loving hands involved in cutting, sewing these hearts. Today Debbie Revere Ferri and Elaine Jones had the privilege of delivering these to The NICU unit at Tampa General Hospital and even got a tour of the NICU!
