The 1895 Society began during President Pat Keel’s administration 2006-2008. Donations to the 1895 Society are used to make necessary updates to our GFWC Florida headquarters. In the past donations were used to purchase the land next to the building. GFWC Florida Headquarters is located at 4444 Florida National Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33813. Tours are available.
Several members of our Leadership Team wear gold key pins with a charm(s) attached signifying our membership to the society. In addition, our club makes a monetary donation with our GFWC Florida remittance form and a second in honor of Founders Day February 21,1895.
